Marietta Motors is looking to hire an experienced automotive technician.  As a family owned independent repair shop you will be an integral part of a caring team providing excellent service to our broad customer base.  We know most of our customers by name and many of our customers know our technicians as well.  You will not just be a number on a work order.   Hours are Monday - Friday from 7am to 5pm.

 

Automotive technicians must have the ability to troubleshoot and problem solve in order to succeed in this position.  A technician will work on many types of passenger and light truck vehicles as well as a few medium duty trucks and trailers.

 

The right candidate should have their own tools, a valid PA drivers license, PA inspection license and a PA emission license.  ASE credentials are a plus but not required for hiring. Incentives will be offered as ASE tests are passed for those individuals not currently certified.

 

Job responsibilities will include vehicle safety inspections, routine/scheduled maintenances, and minor and major repairs on all car and light truck systems. 

Marietta Motors is looking to hire an experienced tow truck operator to join our team.  Hourly shifts will be 7:30am to 5pm Thursday and Friday.  Full time work may be available at a future date.

 

The duties of an operator will include performing tows, tire changes, jump starts, lockouts, winching services, and recoveries on light and medium duty cars and trucks.  Motorcycle tows will also be performed.  

 

An operator will also respond to accident calls, traffic stops, and abandonments.  An operator must have or develop skills using skates, snatch blocks, and the wheel lift.   Operators must have or develop strong skills in problem solving and risk management.  Physical activity will include frequent bending, crouching, twisting, climbing, etc.  Operators must be able to function at a high level in a fast paced work environment.
